I used to be a hopeless romantic…. Having your heart broken will change your outlook…

25 Nov

I’m not all bitter and twisted (Anymore)… But my outlook’s changed, I’m just a bit more realistic in how I look at matters of the heart an I’m afraid to take chances… There’s  chance to be taken at the moment in my life, It could change a lot… I don’t know whether to risk it all… but then again “Nothing comes of nothing”

This song makes me happy…

It’s a little bittersweet though…

not really a happy ending kind of song in my opinion…

You’re in my arms
And all the world is calm
The music playing on for only two
So close together
And when I’m with you
So close to feeling alive

A life goes by
Romantic dreams will stop
So I bid mine goodbye and never knew
So close was waiting, waiting here with you
And now forever I know
All that I wanted to hold you
So close

So close to reaching that famous happy end
Almost believing this was not pretend
And now you’re beside me and look how far we’ve come
So far we are so close

How could I face the faceless days
If I should lose you now?
We’re so close
To reaching that famous happy end
And almost believing this was not pretend
Let’s go on dreaming for we know we are
So close
So close
And still so far

I am in agreement, or in the same position whichever way you want to look at it, as to what is said in the first paragraph.
I feel stronger and more determined, and I’ll probably be a better person than I would have been as a result of all the heartbreaking crap. I think you are in a similar position and you should remember that. You are now on the road to success and less mistakes.

Thanks… took a leaf from your book with a King Lear quote… Nothing comes of nothing…

in response to “t”. i sincerely hope you’re not on your way to less mistakes. life would be terrible without them. we’d learn nothing and become bored very quickly. or, as george bernard shaw put it:

“a life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent in doing nothing.”

Well what I meant was rather, I will make less of the same mistakes. Some mistakes are not fun to make. There are people that do not recover from some of the mistakes they made.

      However –
